How do I get the settings option back and/or how do I turn on family share without going through settings? My windows laptop is at my cousin's place and I am currently using my mother's Mac laptop, if that makes a difference. I then tried turning them on again to see if maybe I needed them on to use family share, but I still couldn't find a way to use it. I tried turing them on and off to see if it would do anything, but nothing happened. ![]() However, the family settings were not turned on. Then I looked up "steam settings missing" and the general consensus was that if it was missing, family settings must be turned on and the reason why the settings option is missing is to prevent children from modifying Steam. I looked up where to find it and people said that it would be under the Steam drop down menu but it wasn't there. Click the tabs along the Properties menu to access different options, including DLCs, Game auto-update settings, Verify. From there, you can Right-Click on a Game and Select 'Properties' on the context menu to adjust the settings of that game. I tried to find the settings option so I could turn it back on, but the settings option was missing. When looking at the main Steam interface, click on the 'Library' tab to view your list of games. I used to be able to use family share, but for some reason I can't anymore.
